Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern on the Patty

This post is my humble attempt at this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge. I read about this very early this morning and filed it away into my subconscious to come home and try and put together a post. And then, I forgot. Until, unexpectedly the pattern found it’s way to me, in the form of these strange stripes on my grouper burger patty. I know it looks like the spatula miiighht have made them, but i’m pretty sure it didn’t because they don’t exactly match up, plus I didn’t apply any pressure on the patty. I just flipped it a few times. The pan doesn’t have the pattern either.

I’m sure if I really think about it, there will be a logical reason for my pattern, and all patties have meshes or grids on them,  but it’s just more fun to believe that the note I filed away into my subconscious somehow came undone, got enveloped in the magical ways of the universe, and became the Pattern on the Patty.
